The initial consultation includes a thorough assessment of your condition, with advice tailored to your medical history. The healthcare professional leading the consultations will discuss and agree upon weight loss goals for you to help progress towards a healthier target weight. As part of the overall weight management plan, if appropriate, you may be offered weight loss medication. You then come in for monthly follow-up consultations where ongoing treatment suitability and overall progress is assessed.

If appropriate, you may be offered medications, including:

• Naltrexone & bupropion: appetite suppressant.
• Liraglutide: GLP-1 receptor agonist (helps control appetite).
